Milliways Dossier: Dracula - Vlad Tepesh

History
  • Loosely based on Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia? - and Bram Stoker's Dracula
  • Seeks sustenance by blood, natch
  • Telepathy confirmed, other vampiric abilities likely

Impressions
  • Threat Level: EXTREME - Trained warrior with inhuman strength and speed. Immortality likely grants him a detached perspective when it comes to human life, as well.
  • Refers to himself as Tepesh, a title meaning 'Impaler' - applied after his death to indicate his worst sins
  • Stupid suggestive violins
  • Speaks little and says much
  • Body language is hilariously indolent and impudent
  • He's clearly comfortable in his own skin and oozes sexual challenge - in short, he's a panther
  • Indulgent - almost to the point of hedonism
  • Polite, wealthy, highly educated, gracious host
  • Probably a long-term patron
  • Thin. Strong cheekbones. Graceful. Sensual. Waiting
  • Enjoys chess, though probably more as an exercise to get to know people, given his mind-reading abilities
  • Asked my name, how funny!
  • Wounded hospitality? What? Surely he didn't expect me to drink wine
  • Confident boasting with relaxed position, but snaps to intimidating and threatening on a dime, wow
  • Grace lending itself to weapons - yes, very well-trained
  • Used to authority
  • Did apologize for the telepathy, though, which is interesting
  • Strange reaction - sneering, snappish - once Javert was introduced into play, and then asked about him
  • Apparently took Javert to Wallachia, which Rae was both hesitant to speak on and indicated, "I don't know whether he had a choice" - very, very interesting, and does explain why I feel Javert was a significant topic in the conversation
  • Sunshine knows him quite well - respect or animosity?
  • She shut down that line pretty effectively, so I'm going to assume they have had Conversations

Weaknesses
  • Sunlight, but probably not

Scabs
  • How does he not go mad with all that power?
  • Has he met Hannibal?
  • How much of him is true to the book, and how much is just laughably false?
  • ... Blackberries? What?
  • Was he comforting me? Why? How did he get his hands on my back? What the hell!
  • I wish I could remember more of that conversation. I probably made a fool of myself.
