• How long has he had his current form? Why appear human-like?
  
• How many of his kin are still around?
  
• What manner of magics can he sense? How does Free Magic work - clearly he can conjure up items at will, and is himself ridiculously powerful
  
• How were the creatures of Free Magic woven/consumed by the Charter? Humans do not seem powerful enough to do that, though it's possible there was a ritual...

Opportunities

• I doubt he'd teach me how to play the harpsichord - and why should he? - but I would like to hear him play again
  
• An exchange of services and goods for magic, perhaps? though I may find the prices to be high - exercise caution
