Let me count the ways, part III
[Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV]
Realized while speaking with Yugo that my mind drifts towards Miss Tanaka at least three to four times daily. What is this?
---
Good heavens, I haven't seen Karkat in forever.
---
Engaged in an aerial chase with Miss Tanaka, wherein I took a swan dive off the carpet. After that we had a lovely conversation as well as a pair of beautifully-presented lunches, which she had made.
She... fed me a piece of her omelette. It was delicious.
Addendum: Given that she used her chopsticks to feed me and they had previously touched her lips, that may or may not have been an indirect... something. I will have to think on this.
---
Spoke with Nepeta to see if I can sort out this entanglement. I don't think Miss Tanaka is a true kismesis, but she's close. Now, how do I tell Karkat? I don't particularly want to at all.
---
Bought flowers for Miss Tanaka and Rae today from Yugo. He picked cherry blossoms, which is excellent. He teased me terribly both today and when I ordered them. He even stuck his tongue out at me, which reminds me of Bugbear.
---
Outfitted myself for Cubefall with strength and speed and flight, as well as transforming my shape Unfortunately, I did not see Miss Tanaka during the holiday. I would have liked to surprise her.
---
Still no sign of the clapper-clawed ankle-biter. I did, however, meet a man named Shephard, who uses just about as many curse words and apparently knows the trolls quite well.
---
This is terrible! During Cubefall, I broke and ankle and both wrists, and as such took a rather powerful opiate. Apparently I was so out of it for the rest of the evening that I confessed to an... a liking for Miss Tanaka.
To make matters worse, the people I confessed to were Rae and Lucas! Augh! She tells me that I was quoting John Donne's Song, and that I wanted to hunt Miss Tanaka down and kiss her! This is ridiculous! "A pilgrimage sweet to find a woman true and fair," indeed.
Note: apparently the adjective I chose for the girl is 'glorious'.
---
Why do people keep sticking their tongues out at me? All it does is remind me of Karkat.
---
Spoke with Lohengrin today. He teased me a bit about Miss Tanaka, of course, but the way he went about it was rather nice, oddly enough.
---
Really starting to worry about pustle-licker.
---
I recovered my carpet with Mia's help, but she was not pleased to hear how I lost it. Her teasing was similar to Lohengrin's, but it made me wonder what my relationship to Punie actually is. I'm fairly certain I'm not a worthy suitor--I can't keep up with her and there's nothing I can offer. So what am I doing? Am I courting her insincerely? Or am I courting her at all?
She'll return home to kill her mother for the throne or die trying, and I'll return to my Story and my own war, and never the twain shall meet. As I told Yugo, I'll just enjoy her company now while I have the pleasure to do so. I shouldn't really wish for more than that.
The crux of it now is to learn what she wants out of this. |
