Cubefall Recap

Cubefall is here! Most excellent. I've obtained blueprints from Bar for strength gloves and speed boots, among other things. They're temporary, and if my calculations are correct I'll suffer severe injuries. But they'll be worth it should I come up against Punie. Hopefully my newly-acquired feminine shape will keep me from detection long enough to properly greet her.
---
Spoke with someone who became a chimp for the holiday. I like him. He introduced me to something called the Inter-net, which sounds like the T-minus system.
---
Met someone who chose to be a troll! Augh! Why didn't I think of that? Note: Keep Shephard in mind for rifle lessons in exchange for transcription services.
---
Transformed into a female, as expected. What I did not expect was my inability to stand due to a completely new center of gravity. Even more humiliating, Lohengrin--or, rather, his table--caught me. There was teasing, of course. And an offer to come speak with him if I run into any trouble. Which is odd, but appreciated.

After that, Mia saw me staggering up to my room and helped me with certain things required to be a woman. It occurs to me that being one is terribly uncomfortable.
---
Spoke with someone who had also changed shapes for Cubefall at length about project construction. Her previous choice of a bird makes me think I might have the time to build those wings I'd been thinking of.

After that, I saw Rae by the furnace, and spoke to her without revealing my identity, as she looked sad and I didn't want to make it worse. Then she turned into a deer and headbutted me in the chest, because apparently that was the best way she could let me know she'd cottoned on to me, or something.

The Fool and I had a fairly hilarious conversation, too. He was a black kitten again, and required garnish on his halibut. Never in my life have I met a more spoiled clowder of cats than at this bar.
---
Yugo is a giant robotic squid! He's hovering over the lake and has impenetrable armor and can fly at light speed and his voice is hilarious! Why didn't I get that option?

---
Broke both wrists, as expected. Have made braces out of Lego and taken Bar-provided painkillers. The pain is tolerable; the tingling is annoying.
---
Today has been fairly eventful. Met with Ben Grimm, who decided to change into a woman--specifically, one of his friends. We spoke about the differences between the sexes, primarily that they tend to be smaller and weaker and rounder than men, and have additional anatomy.

Then I broke my ankle, which hurt more than I thought it would. A concerned patron helped me hop back to the bar. Related: I may be allergic to horses. After I treated that, I met Ako, the girl from the other day. I gave her the blueprints for the wings. I'm interested to see if she can scale them down in the time that she has.
---
Played with a gigantic dog that I met by the furnace! Thank goodness for those anti-histamines.
---
Met with Oswin, who chose to change sexes as well. She seemed upset at the beginning of our conversation, but quickly evened out. We spoke at length about computers. Hers seemed like something she missed, so I simply ordered one for her. Why do people forget we have a magical bar here?

Addendum: She appears to be enamored of a maths professor, which is good.
---
Turns out that William was the horse. Ha.
---
At the stroke of midnight, Cubefall ended, and I blacked out. As expected, my bones were still broken when I changed. I didn't expect them to break again, nor did I expect the pain medication to just... dissipate. I managed to dope myself up again with an opiate from Bar. Poins came and sat with me, which was kind of him. Apparently he was the dog. I don't remember parts of our conversation, which terrif concerns me.

Similarly, Rae found me in my doorway, and of course she was wearing nothing but a towel. What the hell, Rae. She offered to levitate me down to the infirmary, which surprised me. Turning her down would be completely illogical, so I swallowed my objections and let her. We found Lucas in the main bar, who was suffering from a fever. I only have to assume that he healed me, because I woke the next morning in my bed completely restored. I've managed to piece together that Sunshine made us smoothies, and that things were peaceable between we three, as there was Donne, and contentment, and something about pork products.

It is with great shame that I admit th
at I spent three hours curled in on myself, hyperventilating, due to the holes in my memory. Oh, my God, what if I've already forgotten other things? What if the Story has forced these gaps on me again, and I've just been

Cubefall has officially concluded, and I am ready to start my day.
