Milliways Dossier: Harry Percy (Hotspur)

History

  • Harry Percy, aka Hotspur, from Henvy VI
  • Slain by Prince Henry during the Battle of Shrewsbury
  • This version is younger than Shakespeare's tale, about twenty? - interesting!

Impressions

  • Threat Level: EXTREME - Awful temper, predisposed to not like me, and quick to pull a sword - which he's very skilled with!
  • Reacted poorly to being called Macbeth, does not know Hamlet
  • Story made flesh
  • "I'll not be told of my own fame before I have earned it"
  • "Why, what a wasp-stung and impatient fool art thou to break into this woman's mood, tying thine ear to no tongue but thine own" - suits him perfectly

Weaknesses

  • Temper, temper!

Scabs

  • None for now; I know who he is from reading his tale

Opportunities

  • Learning more of Shakespeare's era, works
