Unofficial OOC Milliways Holidays List
This is by no means an official list; just because a holiday is not on it doesn't mean that it can't be celebrated.
Conversations with Dead People - Occurring in late October, this holiday involves pups talking with dead people from their past, present, or future. The conversation generally takes place during a dream and lasts one night only. There is a tag.
IMDb Flu - Usually occurring in winter-to-spring flu season, IMDb flu usually lasts for one week--sonetimes longer--and involves an illness where pups think they're someone else from their PB or voice actor. Here's a more in-depth explanation.
May the Fourth - Also known as Star Wars day, this holiday has generally involved play lightsabers, speeders, and special guest appearances by TFA-era Anakin and R2D2. Run by Lee. Here's the archives for May 25th, 2017, where Star Wars day was held for the 40th anniversary of the canon.
Summer Fair - Run by Bonnie, the summer fair involves a fruit and vegetable contest, stalls--like Emcee's kissing booth--and games, like tug-of-war. Here is 2017's version, the third annual summer fair.
Talk Like a Pirate Day - Occurring on September 19th, this holiday is just as it says on the tin: pups talk like pirates.
Cubefall - Occurring sometime in June, Cubefall is a week-long Cybertronian celebration run by Cam, which involves an at-will transformation for three days into either something cute, a robot, or at least one other option, usually a genderbend. The bar breaks out into K'nex and Lego pieces, and the fireplace is replaced with a furnace. Anyone who burns something in the furnace is said to have good luck. The furnace also changes items into other things. Here is the tag. Ellen Park is usually nominated to explain Cubefall to the patrons, and usually gets Ghengis Khan as one of her choices.

Mardi gras - Also known as Fat Tuesday, this holiday is a celebration of life commemorated by Bar-picked costume changes and a party in New Orleans run by Yrael. Here is 2018's party.
AU Week - Occurring sometime in August, this plot involves taking the same characters and placing them in an Alternate Universe. For those who choose to play, the alternative universe is the way it has always been for that character. Remembering what happens after is entirely discretionary. Here is a more in-depth explanation.
