In trying to contain this mess, I've spoken with:

• Gene - Security, still suspicious
  
• Guppy - Attempted reconciliation? Wow
  
• Charles? - Worried about me - what, seriously?
  
• Sunshine - told her everything, and now she hates me - Good job acting on impulse

What I've learned from this:

• Ink applied to ephemeral words makes people incredibly nervous, even when they haven't been coerced to speak them - self-conscious? Why?
  
• Milliways, purported to be a haven, polices the thoughts of its citzenry
  
• Guppy has severe anxiety issues - something horrible happened to him?
  
• People will stick their noses into anything under the guise of concern
  
• We are all guilty until proven innocent; eg. reasonable suspicion is taken as evidence
  
• A four-year-old's "common sense" supersedes four adults'
  
• Guppy realized he doesn't know anything about me, because he hasn't asked any questions himself
  
• -- He is, however, always willing to "start over" - interesting
  
• Charles is dangerous, always, and more so now that he's taken an unasked for personal concern in my welfare
  
• Gene carries grudges and wields (unchecked?) power, but reminds me of myself - which he'd absolutely hate, hahaha...
  
• Sunshine - didn't run, likely because she was pinned to the couch - dangerous, knows everything, neutral voice until the end
  
• Never set down anything in writing ever again! - Tch.
  
• I can't handle stress worth a damn
