Hannibal Thread Summary, Part IV

[Dossier | Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV]

Dr. Lecter saw that Miss Kuriyama and I were tending bar, and approached us. He immediately pronounced her rude, pointed out that her favorite word was 'unpleasant', discussed blogging, and--to put the cherry on the sundae--told her that I had a crush on her! Damn it!

He called her Little Miss Negativity and claimed that she sneered at Rae's cinnamon rolls. What a cruel person.

---

While being affected by the pox, I rhymed for him. Apparently he enjoyed it.

---

Dr. Lecter offered me a cupcake, but I turned him down. Today was a victory in terms of avoiding him.

---

Dr. Lecter tormented me while I was making udon noodles for Miss Kuriyama. We spoke about Ava Wilson, and he correctly pointed out that she can make her own decisions. Then he deduced what I was making and who I was making it for, and I pictured him eating her and just... I cracked. I snarled at him to leave her alone, and then couldn't speak to him any further. He had damn well better not touch her.

---

Apparently he can smell fear! He sniffed me--and the mistletoe above my head--while I was stuck fast to the floor today. "It's no fun if you can't leave," he told me, and found Miss Ava to kiss me. It was incredibly embarrassing, and of course he lapped it up like a cat in cream.

---

I found Dr. Lecter in the kitchen today with little Rae, making gingerbread ice cream. We were falsely pleasant when I did acknowledge him, but for the most part, I addressed Rae and ignored him entirely.

I met a seven-fingered woman by the name of Beverly Katz, who seems to be protecting Miss Ava. She works for the FBI and wanted to know what I know about Dr. Lecter. So I told her, and she correctly deduced that we used to be friendly once upon a time. She seemed shocked that Miss Bloom had shot him.
